1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using sqlrake, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
2. License and permitted use
sqlrake is licensed, not sold. You may use the application according to the license terms provided with the app or the platform where you obtained it. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or make the app available in a way that violates applicable law or the license terms.
3. Database access and authorization
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to access every database, server, file, SSH endpoint, account, and system you use with sqlrake. Do not use the app to access systems without authorization.
4. Your data and credentials
You are responsible for protecting database credentials, private keys, tokens, connection settings, exported files, imported files, and query results. Do not share sensitive information with support unless you have removed secrets or have been given a secure process for doing so.
5. Edits, queries, and production systems
sqlrake can view, edit, import, export, and execute database-related operations depending on your connection and permissions. You are responsible for reviewing SQL, pending edits, inserted rows, deleted rows, BLOB imports, JSON changes, and any other database operation before applying it. Use backups, transactions, access controls, and staging environments when appropriate.
6. Backups and recovery
Before making changes to important databases, you should maintain reliable backups and recovery procedures. sqlrake is not a backup service and does not guarantee that edited or deleted data can be recovered.
7. Third-party services
sqlrake may connect to third-party databases, servers, local files, libraries, or platform services according to your configuration. Those services are governed by their own terms, policies, security settings, and availability. sqlrake is not responsible for third-party systems.
8. Updates and changes
sqlrake may change over time, including features, supported database workflows, UI behavior, documentation, and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
9. No warranty
The application and website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. sqlrake does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, compatibility with every database, or that the app will meet every requirement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creators of sqlrake are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including data loss, corrupted data, lost profits, business interruption, loss of goodwill, or inability to use a database or service.
11. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of sqlrake, unauthorized database access, violation of these terms, or violation of applicable law.
12. Termination
Your right to use sqlrake may end if you violate these terms or applicable license terms. You may stop using the app at any time.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the provider of sqlrake, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
